1. Standard POV Flowcharts

This section documents standard Point-of-View (POV) flowcharts for common workflow patterns on the NIMMSTA Productivity Cloud Platform. Use these as reference templates when designing workflows.

Flowchart Diagrams

  1. Outbound Parcel Sorting — Scan outbound parcels and guide the operator to the correct destination. Also known as Outbound Parcel Sortation or Outbound Delivery Sorting.

  2. Picking Item Verified — Pick items for one order and confirm each pick by scanning the article or SKU barcode. Also known as SKU Scan Picking, Article Scan Picking, or Picking with Product Scan Confirmation.

  3. Picking Location Verified — Pick items for one order and confirm each pick by scanning the storage location. Also known as Bin Scan Picking, Storage Bin Confirmation Picking, or Picking with Location/Bin Scan Confirmation.

  4. Picking Item And Location Verified — Pick items for one order and confirm each pick by scanning the article or SKU barcode and the storage location. Also known as Double-Scan Picking or Two-Step Verified Picking.

  5. Inventory — Count stock by scanning location, article and entering quantity. Verify count and optionally including serial numbers. Also known as Inventory Count, Stocktaking, Physical Inventory, or Cycle Counting.

  6. Multi-Order Picking with Single Location Scan — Pick items for multiple orders and sort them into separate handling units. Confirm each pick by scanning the storage location once and scanning every HU sorted into separately. Also known as Cluster Picking with Single Location Scan.

  7. Multi-Order Picking with Per-Order Location Scan — Pick items for multiple orders and sort them into separate handling units. Confirm each pick by scanning the storage location and the HU sorted into for every order. Also known as Cluster Picking with Per-Order Location Scan.

  8. Inbound Parcel Sorting — Register inbound parcels on pallets, containers or sacks and guide placement. Also known as Inbound Parcel Sortation or Inbound Delivery Sorting.
