Demo Kit

The latest version of the Velocity NIMMSTA Demo Kit can de downloaded here.

Please note that the Demo Kit does not contain any licenses that are needed for Velocity. These must be provided separately by Ivanti Wavelink.

The Demo Kit contains the NIMMSTA Script Library/Demo Explanation document. This document explains how to use the NIMMSTA Smart Watch with the Velocity demo projects, one for telnet and one for browser. It also contains the installation instructions as well as the location barcodes that are used in the demos.

The initial configuration of a Velocity project is defined in the documents Browser Profile Configuration in Velocity – QSG vx.y.pdf and Telnet Profile Configuration in Velocity – QSG vx.y.pdf.

Software

  • Download the latest version of the NIMMSTA App with installation instructions (Startup-Guide) here.
  • Download the latest version of the Velocity Console and Client here, installation instructions are found here.

Demo projects and Velocity scripts

The demo projects in the demo kit contain the Velocity scripts that allow the use of Smart Watch with the Velocity client. Telnet sessions and browser-based sessions require different versions of a script to read display data of trigger feedback. In in-depth description of these scripts given in section NIMMSTA Library. The pre-defined layouts that are available are explained in section Available Layouts.

To import the scripts into your own Velocity project, click the Import Button in the button menu of the Velocity Console and select either the TE or Web project, depending on the host type of your project.

The scripts are now imported in the Advanced Configuration section.

Verify that in the Scope section of the NIMMSTA Library script a links is made to session. You can unlink every other script. See the NIMMSTA Library section for an explanation of the available functions.
